Maps and Directions
Among all of today's mapping providers, only Kivera has to pass the rigorous accuracy requirements of in-car navigation systems. Our routing is simply the best — which is why the American Automobile Association chose us to provide the routing engine for their Internet TripTiks. We also provide customer tools for adjusting routing parameters, so you can offer up-to-the-minute information about conditions such as road closures, detours, and construction.

Geocoding and Reverse Geocoding
Kivera's geocoding engine is fast — really fast — more than 600,000 geocodes an hour on a small Sun server. We also offer reverse geocoding, so you can generate an address from latitudinal-longitudinal data. If you're providing call center driving instructions, your operators can easily generate a route from the location of a user's geo-aware device. You can even generate a geocode from a phone number look-up — especially advantageous for devices with limited keyboards, like cell phones.

Business Look-Ups
Kivera Location Server performs proximity searches better and more reliably than any other system in existence. Unlike our competitors, if you give us Dulles, we'll get you to the airport on time. And, while it may seem like a small detail, we index every word for proximity searches, one of many special touches you'll come to appreciate — including multiple layers of POIs to choose from based on factors such as data cost and the ability to load and manage your own POI data.
